Crucible has been teaching students and workshops in DFW for nearly 10 years. In that time have trained over 5,000 students and have developed our own specializations in Women's Self Defense, Corporate Team Building, and high end Escape & Evasion courses.

Women’s Self Defense Workshops

We keep our courses fun, interactive and on message. "Situational Awareness" is a topic you hear about a lot, but we show you military proven methods of learning it. "De-escalate" isn't just a talking point - we drill the exact ways to do this.
And we can do all of this while having fun and being extremely safe.

Women’s Self Defense workshops:
Usually runs 1 - 3 hours
Basic 1 hour custom workshops:
- $25/pp with a $250 minimum
Standard 2 hour custom workshop:
- $40/pp with a $400 minimum
Advanced 3 hour custom workshops:
- $50/pp with a $500 minimum
Corporate Team Building

These are the kind of win-win team building events that we put on. Fun, safe, useful, interactive AND educational in a way that no other event can do.
What a course typically looks like:
Usually 1 - 3 hours in length
In the morning from 9 - 11am or afternoon from 1 - 3pm
We come onsite with any necessary equipment
Students are lightly warmed up before we begin
We can accommodate anyone of any fitness level!
What we cover in Team Building courses:
How to recognize threats early
De-escalating threats and responding early
Safe communication methods
Safe bystander intervention approaches
How to defend grabs, chokes and strikes
Team Building Workshops:
Usually runs 1 - 3 hours
Basic 1 hour custom workshops:
- $25/pp with a $250 minimum
Standard 2 hour custom workshop:
- $40/pp with a $400 minimum
Advanced 3 hour custom workshops:
- $50/pp with a $500 minimum
Safety Workshops
For those who are looking for something even more comprehensive, maybe even a little exotic, we offer our Escape & Evasion Safety Workshops!
These events cover much more in-depth into scenarios and situations that might happen:
These events can be held at our Allen, Texas location or at your location. They can be customized to either 4 or 8 hours, or all weekend.

What is taught at a Safety Workshop?
How to escape out of bindings such as handcuffs, zip ties, rope and duct tape
Detect lies and counter surveillance

Full Day Comprehensive Workshops
Full Day (~10 hours) event that starts at 8:30am and runs till 6:30pm
Designed for up to 16-20 students
Cost is $500 per person, with a 4 student minimum
Can be held on-premise (most common) or at our Allen, TX training facility (some time restrictions)
Only taught by Chief Instructor Mike Coffin
Basic Executive Workshops
Half Day (~4 hours) events that usually start at 8:30am or 1:30pm
Designed for up to 16-20 students
Cost is $250 per person, with a 4 student minimum
Can be held on-premise (most common) or at our Allen, TX training facility (some time restrictions)
Only taught by Chief Instructor Mike Coffin
