Thank you for visiting Crucible Self Defense! We are a self-defense training org dedicated to teaching life saving skills for everyone. You do NOT have to be in top shape to train! Training will actually HELP you get in shape!

Our philosophy is that training should be for everyone. That the system should meet you where you are at, not that you have to come up to the system.

We are an all adult program (12+) but highly family oriented. Many of our students train with their kids and spouses. It is an enjoyable and useful family activity.

Krav Maga is a mixed-martial arts system that is adapted to self-defense situations and used by many militaries and law enforcement groups around the world. You will see:

Punching, Kicking, Blocking and Deflecting - from boxing and kickboxing
Grappling, Choking, Falling, and Submissions - from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Knife Threats, Gun Threats, Hostage and Robbery - from Krav Maga

The best of the best from ANY system is incorporated. We do not care as long as it is effective.
